Every summer from May to September, children from disadvantaged families can attend a free camp in order receive social rehabilitation. The goal of the camp is to prevent the abandonment of the kids. Each month 25-30 kids can attend the camp. The children are identified throughout the year by a local charity called “Kind Heart“.

“Kind Heart” owns the land where the camp is held and has several local partners that provide support in order to purchase the day-to-day basics needed. Their partners are a museum, park, movie theater, social center for minors and the Barnaul Rotary Club.

The Rotary Club has raised $1,500 from local donors to put towards the project. They are asking for help so that they can purchase 100 sleeping bags, small tents, large tents for holding meetings and classes, folding chairs, kitchen & dining supplies and sports equipment. With these additional purchases they will be able to expand the number of kids that can receive social rehabilitation each summer.
